General Information:  Private training allows you and your dog to train in the privacy of your own home and provides the ability to fit within your schedule. One on one with you and your dog may accelerate your progress. Your home is less stressful for you and your dog which is particularly important if your dog is sensitive.

One session: This option is perfect if you need a quick tune up for a specific training issue.

Four session package: This package allows you to focus on the training issues that would benefit your dog including: Sit, Look, Down, Settle, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Come, Off, Give, Take It, Stand, Heel, Place and Leave It. This training option would include a preliminary evaluation to assess your needs and establish a training plan.

Why Consider Boarding with Pet Education and Therapy?  Why board your dog in a busy, load environment when you can instead leave your dog in the care of a knowledgeable trainer.  Why board your dog at a facility so contrary to what your dog is accustomed to on a daily basis when you can leave your dog in a home environment and treated like one of the family.

Facilities: Your dog is safely and securely boarded in the trainer's home.  This is a cage-free environment (unless safety indicates otherwise).

Exercise: Your dog will also receive at least one walk per day and four supervised mini play sessions in a fenced yard.

What You Bring: Sufficient supply of food for your dog's stay; two bowls (food & water); collar (no choke, prong, or electric collars); and 6 foot leash (no retractable or chain leashes).

Note: All dogs accepted for Boarding must be current on all vaccines including the Bordetella vaccine.

Cost: $50 plus tax per day

General Information:  You do not need to be present for these lessons. In the homeschool program, each home visit includes a private lesson for your dog, exercise and constructive playtime. Your dog will learn the skills necessary to be a well-behaved family member and companion.

This is a wonderful option for a busy family; a new puppy who isn’t ready to take classes; a shy dog who needs help gaining confidence; a reactive dog who is a little too much to handle in a classroom environment; a clever dog bored while you’re at work.

Your dog will learn behavior concepts quickly when handled by an expert trainer. And once they get the hang of these behaviors, we schedule “learning transfer” lessons so those skills are transferred to you as well..

Quote of the Day

I think we are drawn to dogs because they are the uninhibited creatures we might be if we weren't certain we knew better. -George Bird Evans -Troubles with Bird Dogs
